Even through the many recent changes and adaptations within the education sysytem, our high school seniors have worked incredibly hard to reach their senior year. Let us just say, congratulations to you all! It was hard work to get here, but you made it!
Yes, this was to be their year to remember, and students were looking forward to enjoying their long awaited and well-earned senior year. Indeed, many students started the school year with anticipation, excitement, and maybe some anxiety about life after this final year with their friends. However, no student could have imagined their senior year would be spent in quarantine concerned about the lives of their loved ones, completely separated from friends, and with no usual senior festivities.
We have created this T-shirt to not only commemorate this unusual school year, but to honor our outstanding high school seniors. For all of the high school seniors and their families, we want to offer a word of encouragement. Even through all the current chaos of the pandemic, hold on, this too shall pass. Though it seems as though this dark time may never end, let us reassure you, there is an end. The sun will rise and set tomorrow just as it’s done for countless years, the toilet paper will flow once again, and you will be moving on to better days. Yes, what an incredibly challenging year for the graduating Class of 2020, but we remain hopeful that as students emerge from isolation, they will do so with a fresh perspective, greater determination, and renewed hope.
