DESCRIPTION
Someone once said, “champions are made from something they have deep inside of them--a desire, a dream, a vision.” Agreed. However, as Christians, we have someONE far more precious within us than a mere desire, dream, or vision. The God who created us, designed the plans for our lives, and implanted them into our hearts--He lives inside of us. Now, we can acknowledge and rely on Him as the driving force of every aspect of our lives. Even though we can look to God to fulfill the desires, dreams, and visions He implanted within us, God is looking to us to develop and implement the desires, dreams, and visions He put inside of us.
With God’s guidance, wisdom, and strength, we can develop these wonderful gifts. Our goal is to not just be gifted by God, but to become skilled by practice. In other words, we are left the task of developing the gifts given to us by God. While practicing these things are important, we are not just talking about instruments, athletics, vocal ability, etcetera, but also, practicing walking in the good character of God (eg. patience, kindness, humility…). This is what champions do.
Champions are not born champions, but instead they are developed through hard work and repetitive, challenging practice. We created this T-Shirt as a reminder: “Whatsoever you do, do it from the heart, as to the Lord, and not to men...” (Colossians 3:23) PrACTice like a Champion!
