I deliberately decided to make this t-shirt design as a reminder to myself to help me be obedient to what I felt like God was telling me to do; to make the choice to be joyful in all of my circumstances. Oftentimes this is easier said than done. Nonetheless, it was a command from Him to me. I simply heard Him say to me in my heart, over and over, “choose joy.”
To be able to fulfill God’s calling on our lives and to obtain the promises that are in His Word, we must make the choice to come out of agreement with the enemy in the areas of self-pity, self-condemnation, fear, or even anger. We must be obedient to Him by taking our thoughts captive and intentionally making the choice to trust in the Lord!
